Lord Tanamo (born Joseph Abraham Gordon, 2 October 1934, Kingston, Jamaica - died 19 April 2016) is best known as a mento and ska performer and songwriter.
Lord Tanamo was raised in Denham Town in Kingston.
He began singing mento on the street and then in hotels with Cecil Lawes, a rhumba box player.
