Founded in 1994 by Matías "Chávez" Méndez, Árbol is an argentine alternative rock band notorious for combining varied genres and instrumentation into their sound, ranging from rock and pop to latin music.
They released their first album, Jardín Frenético, independently in 1996. A copy of the album would later reach to Gustavo Santaolalla, who upon listening signed the band to Surco and became their producer. The band moved to Popart Discos (...)
