Krabb was born in 1997 in the Roskilde mud were some friends with big dreams met in front of the big stage. Their first gig in Västerhaninge south of Stockholm is legendary. Krabb started out enthusiastically, ignoring the fact that they easily outnumbered the audience. Five reluctant individuals had after all arrived to witness their debut. Four songs later they had all left.
Not in the least discouraged by this minor set back Krabb kept rehearsing, creating immortal hits like "Mr Fireman (your house is on fire)" and "Furry Chicken Ball Song". The first demo was recorded in a studio in the centre of Stockholm, where the puzzled producer often found himself with nothing to do while Krabb used precious studio hours to rehearse. To avoid this waste of money in the future, Mattias built his own studio where the second demo was recorded. "Wannabe", "Nice vibe" and "Case for us" spread world wide, and one day the band received an e-mail; "You want make play in Poland?" Of course Krabb want make play in Poland! And a ten day tour was arranged.
Since then Krabb has played in clubs, pizzerias, ski slopes and day care centres around Sweden.
